Nagar Nigam elections is good time for PPP to make an organizational structure at grass root level. It will make PPP ready to increase vote share in Lok Sabha elections. Slowly PPP will become a state level party to oust Akalies and Congress.

My Dear Fellow Punjabis – Well the election results are disappointing and there was no other way no matter who win.
Did i not say earlier that it is the PROBLEM WITH DEMOCRACY itself which looks only for quantity and it has no way of getting quality. I know you guys are not supporter of Manpreet, you people are looking for change becos you are frustrated with both Badals and Cong which makes you look for someone else you can depend on and in this case it was manpreet. but i the process we forget that it is the same system that will only count heads(quantity) and will not give you quality politicians since system has no way of doing that.
PPP can make an argument that it was too new and it did not had an organizational structure as well, i will buy that argument, ofcourse it was too new to make a big impact in election process. But Manpreet had organizational structure in Gidarbaha has was MLA for 16 years and FM as well. But he lost badly coming on 3rd position in both his constituencies. While Organizational set up thing is true for PPP but not for MSB in gidarbaha.
Let’s see how he plays in next elections. IF he rejoins SAD (Badal) i believe he is doomed.

Congress and their supporters are worst disappointed and demoralized. They thought it is their turn to loot and misrule Punjab, but Akalies got the lottery.
There is no need to get disheartened for low PPP’s low performance. Every large project has a small beginning. Get ready for any elections in future. Make the organizational structure more strong and operational. It is always tough to fight mighty corrupts. There is always light at the end of the tunnel, but passing tunnel needs discipline.

Never mind Manpreet. Carry on your hard work. I think we lost due to poor organisation and poor coalition with other parties. You need to do a lot lot…tons tons of hardwork for the next elections. Please don’t jump for Loksabha election of 2014, just focus on local elections first, start from the rural areas and common man. Please analyse your drawbacks,the causes of defeat and rectify them. Some people in Punjab have the habit of living the lives of slaves. These people don’t want freedom. They have a mindset to love the life of slavery under Congress/Akalies. Till these people are in majority, Punjab will continue to go down in history.
No decent reply. it is an answer from a frustrated person. Don’t be frustrated , Go in public do their needful and wait for fresh mandate after five years . You cannot curse people like that . your party has not done anything for anybody and i am surprised how you was looking for a government . Be polite with everybody even if he or she is arguing against you and your party . You cannot win hearts by this harshness.
Nobody expected MSB to form a government this time but you can’t say all these during elections. There is no frustration in PPP at all. Our only interest is a bigger vote share and some seats. But PPP will be there in future for ever. Decency comes from one’s thoughts about others and society and thoughts of congress and akali voters/supporters are well known for their quality since decades.

Predictions for halka Gidarbaha – For sure Manpreet will lose Gidarbaha seat this time. I don’t know about Maud. The only thing that can save this seat for him is if he tradein Gidarbaha for Lambi seat.
PPP’s survival depends upon who forms the govern. in punjab, If Cong comes in power PPP could survive and if SAD (Badal) comes to power then PPP will be wiped out. Gidarbaha had second highest no. of Vandata FIRs registered in punjab in last 5 years, this will sink MSB besides other political realities.
Manpreet will win both the seats. Amarender or Badal will form the government and rule the idiots for another five years. We Punjabies deserve this until and unless we change our mindset. Live your like slaves for another 5 years and enjoy yourself.
